Very nice

This is a great track.

pros:
Great dance tune, good for a sing along, fun and very energetic.

Cons:
The vocals are not up to quality with the track it's self, which is a bit annoying. And they could be louder. You're kick and snare need to be beefier, and the rap parts didn't really fit with the track.

Work on your overall master and try to make every aspect of your track bloom.

SteveKaOs responds:

Thanks a lot for your criticism I really appreciate it.

You've got some skilled ears my friend 'cuz I usually try to cover the quality. It's difficult to find studio quality acapellas but I'm going to get better with my research. The whole song is produced under and acapella which, obviously is chopped and screwed to my liking.

As far as the rapping is concerned I had to listen over a couple times and I do catch a moment where it does seem off but it's difficult to gauge where to put it (if at all) when he's rapping to the same 1/2 beat in the original. I'll probably omit it the next time.

You are the first person to tell me to beef up my kick lol that's usually the one tool I have in my arsenal is heavy bass and my head phones bleed to this track which is why I'm wondering if you're listening to laptop speakers or something lol I agree on the snare however.

I'm still working on the mastering and I really appreciate you taking your time going through this and giving me excellent criticism - I'll use this in my future remixes. Thanks man!

Wow

This is very beautiful. I felt like i was playing a classic jrpg.

The complexity and richness is really great. Though it seems like it's a compilation of different piano parts.

But all and all it's really great.

Snakessgoss responds:

Hey, thanks. I use too many breaks, it's a problem I'm aware of and trying to fix. (Or I could just use the "it's my style" excuse, but nah...)

eehhh

To be honest, it wasn't good.

The intro was too long for that long of a song, and you only used one synth.

You need to add more variety to your tracks and spice them up, and be more creative and put more work into them before you share them.

Make sure your happy with your track 110% before you share.

And idk if you were using a keyboard or if you painted them into a piano roll, but towards the end it got very sloppy.

Xxf3nxX responds:

i named the song -do not use- because originally it was just for me.
i'm sharing it because, not that i'm not happy with it, i need to do two things:
1) privatize all my assets preferrably and
2) sharing is caring

hope that clears things up for you.

Not bad

First of all, the guitar had a lot of high end and was a bit over distorted. I kinda was screechy and a bit loud.

Next the drums were nice, but the pattern, i felt like it was about to kick into a normal drum pattern but it kept pretty much the same and got a bit repetitive.

Same for the guitar lead, you could have changed it up a bit.

Consistency is good, but too must isn't.

JoNoGo responds:

My recording software is sub par to say the least and im suffering with constant lag, i take your point. Thanks for the comment.
